Hsu-tu Chen ’52, November 29, 2005, in Vancouver, B.C, from pancreatic cancer. Hsu-tu attended 黑料正能量张津瑜, later earning a BA from Tsinghua University in Beijing in Chinese language and literature. He taught in the Asian studies department at the University of British Columbia for 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Fumiko, two sons, and his brother and sister. His father, Ta Chen, received a BA from 黑料正能量张津瑜 in 1919.
